Our Mission
Premier International is a privately held software and consulting firm based in Chicago. Our primary target market includes consulting firms, large software firms and ASP/outsourcing organizations. We provide software tools and services to increase consultants' effectiveness and profitability.
Our flagship software product is Applaud, an innovative Rapid Application Development tool. Applaud is designed to reduce consultants' time on several types of repetitive client projects. Applaud's focus is to reduce costs and streamline delivery, making consulting firms more competitive and more profitable. Applaud consistently delivers solutions in less than 50% of the time and cost of other alternatives. |

Our Founder
Jim Hempleman founded Premier International in 1985 and has served as our President and CEO since our inception. Prior to founding Premier International, Jim was a management consultant with Touche Ross & Co., the predecessor to Deloitte & Touche. Jim's background includes over thirty years in information technology consulting.
Jim's career has focused on large-scale system development/implementation, software product design, and design of rapid application development tools. Applaud is the fifth rapid application development tool he has designed. Jim holds three U.S. patents, one on a portion of Applaud's innovative features.

Our Early Years
Our first several years were spent as software consultants, designing and building software products for large consulting firms. During this time we were essentially "ghost writers" of software products for global consulting firms.
We achieved a substantial amount of success in these client relationships and developed a reputation for creating software products that had never been built before. |

The Evolution of Applaud
Applaud was the vision of our founder, Jim Hempleman. Again, Jim's prior experience was primarily in three areas, information technology consulting, design of software products, and rapid application development tools. The vision of Applaud married all three areas. The objective was a rapid application development software product, designed to speed consultants' work on repetitive client projects.
The vision of Applaud included the ability to quickly build system components without conventional programming. The vision featured reusable components that could be applied in various client engagements as needed. It also included the ability for consulting firms to build "templates", which would be used as the starting point for each new client engagement. |

Our Growth
Applaud has been an outstanding success and we have been blessed with exceptional growth and profitability. During the nine years from 1995 to 2003 our revenue increased an average of 34% per year. The total increase in revenue over those nine years was over 1,300%. We are a multiple-year winner of the Deloitte "Fast 50".

Our Applaud Professional Services
Our Applaud Professional Services include education, requirements analysis, solution design, development, support, and complete project outsourcing. Specific product lines include data migration, data cleansing, data quality audits, data management for IT, data management for employee benefits, and rapid application development.

Our Methodology
Our services are based on RapidTrak™, our proprietary methodology. RapidTrak is our unique "rapid application development methodology" designed to further speed projects using our Applaud rapid application development software. RapidTrak reduces the time and cost to deploy solutions to the absolute minimum.
