A top-four global consulting firm asked us to assist in a large supply chain implementation. We amazed them in the first two weeks and went on to reduce their data migration cost from the budgeted amount of $600,000 to only $300,000 in spite of significant scope increases. A large security service firm was being spun off by the parent company. Their new ERP software vendor had to implement in less than 90 days to help the firm avoid paying for an implementation of the parent's ERP system. The ERP vendor asked us to help. The objective was for the ERP firm to begin testing the new system in four weeks. We were able to amaze both the ERP vendor and their client in just the first week of the effort. Vendor data had been merged from nine separate systems and the resulting data contained many duplicates and data problems. Further, the organization needed a way to link related vendor records to support their strategic sourcing initiative. After only two days, the client's Chief Architect said "Wow . . . I'm convinced". Our involvement included identification of duplicates using fifteen sets of layered criteria, as well as zip+4 lookup and CASS certification.
