Leverage Work from Prior Projects
Applaud makes it easy to leverage work from prior client engagements.  Applaud was designed as a consultant's tool for repetitive, similar engagements with multiple clients. Everything you build in Applaud is reusable, both at the component level and at the "feature" level.   In other words, any feature you build for client A can be easily reused for clients B, C, D, etc. Applaud's reusability applies to multiple projects for end-clients as well. For example, a company in "acquisition mode" can plug and play entire features from one project to the next.

Much More Powerful than any Other Software's Reusability
Many software tools claim "reusability", but Applaud takes reusability to a new level. For example, suppose you need to access data for a new client from a specific legacy system. Further, suppose you (or a colleague) used Applaud to access data from the same legacy system for a prior client.  With Applaud, you can literally "plug and play" entire features from the prior client's system in your new client's system.

Click any desired feature in the "source" system on the left side on the screen above (i.e. the prior client project), and then click the button that looks like an organization chart. The entire feature and every component it references are moved into the "target" system on the right side of the screen above (the new Applaud solution you are developing).

Literally everything needed to run the entire feature is moved into the target system.

Every component referenced by the feature is reused. (Applaud features can include any combination of components to extract, profile, analyze, cleanse, transform, analyze the cleansed/transformed data, load the data into a target system, or all of the above.)

But more than just the components, Applaud also automatically moves all required staging tables in the data repository, all appropriate crosswalk and look-up tables, as well as all referenced data elements in the data dictionary.

The selected feature can immediately be run in the new client's system with no additional work. If customization is needed for the new client, you then use Applaud's Rapid Application Development tools to quickly adjust the components to the new client's requirements.
